Yesterday I woke up too late to take my recurve bow up after a mule deer so I decided to head out on the waters to flyfish. Breanne and I managed to spend a good 6 hours in the same hole catching fish. I was happy to see Breanne hooking up fish on the fly rod. It was really nice to feel the vibration in the line as the fish slowly move around on the bottom. We had a few over 20 and broke off 4 or 5 flies to every one we landed. They kept taking us down river and into logs or thick mossy areas. Regardless of a dead battery on the camera, shortly after arriving, we managed to have a good time. I think I might be spending a little more time on the water.

Great Footage

This year on July 6th Breanne and I took a scouting trip and ran into this buck at about 200 yards away. This buck had twice as much growth for this time of year than any other up there. Enjoy the footage!

Boulder Mountain - Surveyors Lake

This lake is a few miles off of the road. One of my Grandpa's favorites.

Giving credit where credit is due

I can't make a website with pictures showing my love for the outdoors with out giving credit to my grandpa. He is the one that helped me gain an appreciation with weeks and weeks of adventuring in the woods. He taught me the art of tying flies, flyfishing, guns, camping and more.
